Something unusual is brewing in the Driftless…

On May 23, a small circle of adventurous taste-testers will gather at Defiance Springs for a blind sipping ritual—a forest tea party where scalding purple Aronia infusions meet scrolls, silence, and surprise.

We’ll be comparing ancient berry preparations—freeze-dried vs. sun-dried, whole fruit vs. pomace—served hot and tasted under lanterns. Feedback will be collected on parchment. Minds may evolve.
